I enjoy a good graphic-t like the next person, but I don't always shop the ladies section... Actually, I don't go out for the intention of buying T-shirts (unless it's from a specific location/store) that's often because I've gotten where I simply don't wear them much. But if I find one with a print that I really like or it's really soft, I'll likely grab it - BONUS if it's long sleeves... I don't know why, but I will wear a long sleeve graphic-t over almost anything else in the fall/winter or if it's chilly out - if I'm just hanging around (with leggings because comfort wins, usually). And it doesn't matter if it comes from the "mens" side of the store.
This one is a perfect example. I liked this tank (below) and it makes a good cover up and I wore it out running errands the other day. I picked it up while perusing the guys section at EJW one of the times stopping by for who knows what. EJW is a fishing/tackle and outdoors store located in Morehead City, NC. They've also got a pretty rad bike shop that's in a separate building, next door. If you ever visit the area for any reason, be sure to give this store a visit. I've since picked up another one and it's a long sleeve tech tee (UPF 40+ sun protection, etc) since I'm a sucker for a LS Tee.
It's funny how mens sizing is all over the place, similar to women's sizing. I have shirts from various stores in a plethora of sizes - from a mens medium (pictured) to a mens XXL. Yup, mens XXL. I will read the tags and check the materials to see if it will shrink (100% cotton) and I try everything on. If it's a poly blend (polyester/cotton) or has spandex in it, it will generally not shrink if it hits the dryer; so I will buy it a little snug or where it fits just right. I hang a lot of my dainty clothing and I prefer just being able to mindlessly wash t-shirts. If it's 100% cotton I make sure it fit's looser so it has room to shrink. Sometimes cotton tees are preshrunk but the label doesn't always say. Usually name brands are preshrunk, but a lot of graphic T's aren't and will shrink slightly, if anything in the length.
And while I wanted to photograph this shirt, which I bought it basically because I liked the back graphic and saying, I thought it was a great opportunity for a photo-op with my puppies. Even though my dogs are not puppies anymore, I still refer to them as my puppies. I don’t know why, really. I suppose it doesn’t really matter. Bella isn’t pictured as she was hanging out with M as far away from the water as possible. She’s not fond of the docks as they are too close to water for her comfort (she fears water). A lab mix that does not like to fetch/play ball or have anything to do with water…
Meet my two Frenchtons, Pepples (white) and Trixi (black & white). They both have distinct personalities and bring a lot of fun and joy into our lives. As you can tell - Pebbles acts all cute; she also prances when she walks and M's friends say she's a little bunny-dog. And Trixi is a bundle of energy and personality; she is literally talking to you when she barks at you - it's always for a reason whether it's for attention, to play, go outside, time to eat... Bella is our old girl and she enjoys napping, a good petting, and being a "nanny dog" to M when she plays outside in the backyard. They all like to dog-pile on me on the couch for snuggles.
Do you have pets? Dogs, cats, or another animal that brings joy into your life? Our pets are like our babies.
Do you shop outside of the box? Let me know!

- I can't link my shades yet via the LTK app, but! I got you. Shop at BLENDERS and use code, LALENA84 to save 16%. This pair, specifically, is named, "Air Wonderful" and I really like them! I also purchased a little hard case to go with them so I don't crush them in my bags (I have a bad habit of tossing my shades in my purse). Through the grapevine, I've herd to keep your Blenders living their best life, make sure you wash them with soap/water if you live in a beach/salty-air region.
